As Mayor of Culver City, I know the value of reading and education and it's my honor to participate in the Culver City Friends of the Library Culver City Reads -- 2005 program. The Friends have a series of very exciting events planned over the next several months revolving around the book the Wizard of Oz. These events are for the entire community and I encourage everyone to take advantage of them.
The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite books and I look forward to seeing you at many of the events.
